BEIJING -- Jamaica's Usain Bolt made history once again at the Beijing Olympics, as he won gold in the men's 200 meters with another world record.

Bolt had already won the 100 in world record time Saturday and set his second world record of the Games on Wednesday, blowing away the field with a time of 19.30 seconds. The previous record of 19.32 seconds was set by American sprinter Michael Johnson at the 1996 Atlanta Games.

Churandy Martina of Netherlands Antilles won the silver with a time of 19.82 seconds and Shawn Crawford, gold medalist four years ago in Athens, took bronze with a 19.96 split.

The victory also made Bolt just the ninth runner in Olympic history to win both the men's 100 and 200 meter races at one Games. Legendary American sprinter Carl Lewis was the last to pull off the double when he won the 100 and 200 en route to winning four gold medals at the 1984 Los Angeles Games.

Wallace Spearmon of the U.S. was disqualified for stepping outside his lane.
